ศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ สิทธิและเสรีภาพตามรัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย พุทธศักราช 2560

                ศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์เป็นหลักการสำคัญอันจะนำไปสู่การคุ้มครองสิทธิ เสรีภาพและความเสมอภาคของปวงชนชาวไทย โดยรัฐธรรมนูญได้นำหลักการนี้มาบัญญัติไว้ตั้งแต่รัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย พุทธศักราช 2540  อันเป็นหลักประกันในความเป็นกฎหมายสูงสุดของประเทศโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในรัฐเสรีประชาธิปไตยที่มุ่งคุ้มครองศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ สิทธิและเสรีภาพของปวงชนชาวไทย ซึ่งรัฐธรรมนูญฉบับปัจจุบันก็ได้ให้ความสำคัญโดยบัญญัติและรับรองหลักการดังกล่าวไว้เช่นเดียวกันจึงเป็นที่แน่ชัดว่ารัฐธรรมนูญจะเป็นหลักประกันให้ประชาชนได้รับการรับรองและคุ้มครองอย่างชัดเจนทั้งยังให้ภาครัฐและผู้ใช้อำนาจตระหนักถึงหลักการนี้ด้วยเช่นกัน

Human Dignity, Rights and Liberties according to the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560

            The human dignity principle is an important principle that leads to the protection of rights and liberties as well as the equality of the Thai people. The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand has adopted this principle since the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2540 as a guarantee of the supreme law of the Constitution. Especially in the democratic state, which seeks to protect the principles of human dignity and the rights and liberties for all. The current Constitution has consistently emphasized this principle when it was enacted and adopted in the Constitution. It is clear that human dignity will be a guarantee for the public’s recognition and protection clearly. This principle will also be made to the public sector or the power user.
